a powerful team

Blue is both a trainer and a gym leader, and uses two separate teams to complete his work related duties and his personal endeavors. Blue spends most of his time training his Pokémon and himself and both of his teams are incredibly strong.

Blue's Main Team

This is the team that Blue uses during most of the manga. Occasionally one or two of the pokémon seen below will be switched out for a Pokémon from his gym team however, that is rare. An interesting fact about this team is, Blue's first Pokémon was his Scizor (a Scyther at the time) not his Charizard. Also, according to the manga, Blue's Porygon2 loses levels instead of gaining them.

Blue list of Pokémon is quite long. In fact he holds the most Pokémon out of any of the Pokédex holders (Ch.180). Sometimes Blue ends up holding onto other character's Pokémon, for example Blue has taken care of: Golbat (Koga), Ivysaur (Red), Pikachu (Red), Poliwrath (Red), Zapdos (Green), and Lapras (Random kid).
